【KTMがモト2クラスのエンジンサプライヤーになろうと思う？】
「うちはモト2のサプライヤーになることに興味ありません。度が過ぎることはしたくないもんですから。うちはあちこちのレースで色々とやってますし…既に皆さんの目に触れてる分だけでもかなりのものでしょ。
モト2と言うのはモト3よりも安価なんですよ。エンジンがワンメイクですからね。ライバルの中で最も嫌っているのはホンダです。ただ、KTM機にホンダのエンジンを搭載する件については問題視してませんよ。しかも、聞いた話では将来的にサプライヤーはトライアンフに代わるそうじゃないですか。良い話だと思いますよ。」

【なぜホンダが嫌い？】
「まず、打倒ホンダは偉大なる挑戦ですから。第二の理由は、ホンダは常にレギュレーション関係を複雑にしてくるんですよ。1月のダカールが良い例でしょ。モト3クラスでも同じようなことが起きるんじゃないんですか。なぜなんでしょうねぇ…そんな必要はないだろうに。うちがホンダを倒したい理由は、そう言うことからですよ。」
